Kings turn off the power at Greenleys.
The Kings followed their worst performance of the season last week, with their best this week.
They gave the Northampton native, Carl Leeson an MK debut, as he is coming back to the sport from 5 years away.
He played alongside regulars Nick Howard and Guy Sparrow, as Matt Haynes is living it large in America, and Gary Deakin is enjoying the Vegas of England - Blackpool.
A special mention to the other Kings player, Jordan Moss. She was awarded the “employee of the year” award from her company, and is currently enjoying an all expenses shopping trip in Edinburgh!
For the Powers, it was Pete Tillotson, Clare Styles and Colin Munford.
Sadly for Powers, this report will be as short as the match night.
Pete was close in a couple of games against Carl, but lost 3-0, and this trend continued all night.
Powers best chance came in the doubles, as the big hitting Clare and Colin took a 10-8 lead in the first against Nick and Guy, but ultimately lost 12-10. It was a similar story in the third as well.
Clare was also unlucky not to pick up a game against Guy, losing the first two, 11-9, before falling away in the third.
It wasn't until match 10 that the Powers troubled the scoreboard, and this was after Nick and Guy had wrapped up all of their matches 3-0.
It was the main threat of the night, Clare, who took the first against Carl in fine fashion. But it was a false dawn as Carl dominated the next 2 before seeing off the 4th game 11-9 for the Kings first 10-0 of the year!
Despite the score line, there were some humorous moments on the night, topped off by the finest swinging backhand action you'll ever see, from Colin.
And no, the ball wasn’t even close to going on, but it sure did look good.

Final score
Kings 10 - 0 Powers.
