After not being able to find a 3rd player for 2 weeks, Sasaki waited until the start of the 3rd match of the evening to call on Terry “Superman” Lau.
After not being able to find a 3rd player for 2 weeks, Sasaki waited until the start of the 3rd match of the evening to call on Terry “Superman” Lau.
Taking it all in his stride, he nonchalantly despatched Guy in 5, in an exciting encounter.
Prior to that, Nick beat Dan Smalley in 4, before Jordan lost to Kelvin who needed a bit more Prit Stick to glue his rubbers down.
The doubles went all the way - With Kelvin and Dan squandering a 2-0 lead, and then allowing a 10-6 lead in the 5th to go begging against Nick and Jordan.
However, after some epic rallies, they prevailed 12-10.
Terry then lost to Nick in 3, after pushing him close in the first, before Guy lost to Kelvin.
Dan then beat Jordan in 4, in a very entertaining match, and Nick took his hat trick against Kelvin 3-0.
Jordan beat Terry in 3, to set the scene for an unlikely Greenleys draw against the top team.
Unfortunately Dan was too consistent against Guy, and took it in 4.
Congrats to Sasaki!
