Fourth placed Mursley Hawks took on third placed Milton Keynes Classics, in the return fixture of what had been a 5-5 draw, last time.
Some changes of personnel saw Hawks playing with two reserves, this time (instead of one), meaning we are up to 17 substitutions
so far this season, whilst Classics played Dylan Cox in place of Nick Markham.  The changes appeared to suit Classics the better, as
although Martin Johnson won a close opening set, despite dropping the opening game, to Barbara Peters, they could only record one
more win on the night, to give Classics an emphatic 8-2 win, and held the gap to second placed MK Hit 'n' Hope to just six points, with
four more League weeks to go.  In set 2, whilst Dylan dropped the opening game against Peter Sear, he then powered through in four
games.  It was the same pattern in set 3, as John Paul comfortbaly took the first game against Masoud Nassor, only for Masoud to up
his game and win well in four games.  The doubles was the tightest set of the night, as Dylan / Masoud edged game one, then eased
though game two, only for Martin / Peter to battle back and take two tight games to level, but they couldn't quite maintain the recovery,
as Classics took the decider 11-8.  Peter survived a see saw battle with Barbara, finally winning the fifth, to take the score on the
night to 2-3, and in set 6, Martin had chances to draw level, but for the fifth time in six sets, the first leg winner ended up losing, with
Masoud just coming through a five set thriller, with his 17-15 win in game three probably the deciding factor, in the end.  The away
team then wrapped up the remaining sets for the loss of just one more game, when John nicked one leg against Barbara, as both
Dylan & Masoud completed maximums on the night, to add to Barbara's win, and to keep the promotion race alive.

Player of the Match : Dylan Cox.
