DEJA VU AGAIN FOR TITANS

It was a repeat of last week's showing for leaders MK Titans. Another 7-3 win against a top side, courtesy of another solid all-round performance.  And another hat-trick conceded to their opponents' top man in the process.  MK Monarchs' Tomek Nowakowski was in fine form, coming through some close encounters when taken the distance by both Craig Brown (saving match points in the process) and Nick Howard (after conceding the opening two games) before a more conventional win over Ricky Taiwo in straight games.  Craig followed this up with two more 5-game marathon sets with both Martin Hall and Dave Beddall while the formidable Brown/Howard duo kept their impressive unbeaten record.

MK Spinners continued their winning way too with a 7-3 win themselves over Greenleys Glory.  Alan Cherry maintained his good form with a treble, Jecu Aurelian took a brace and Ade Odetayo chipped in with one.  Ian Mead was the star man for the Glory boys as usual with a brace and Jacob Midson picked up their other point while Iain Lindsay completed the side.

In the Friday match at Wing, Leighton Buzzard Generations thrashed Open University Primes 9-1 with the home side taking all of singles sets before relinquishing the doubles. Hat-tricks here for Ben Rolfe, Alex Du Noyer and Antonina Bohach. Zeros for Ning He, James Zeng and Andy Tan.

The Greenleys Warriors / MK Topspin match scheduled for this week was postponed due to non-availability of the home side's premises.
